How far are you from the Taupo town centre?
Approximately 3.5 km’s. We are just a 10 minute walk to the town centre.
Do you have an on-site restaurant?
No, however our guests are welcome to use the Hotel restaurant next door and can have your meals charged back to your room. There are also many great restaurants within easy walking distance.
Will my motel room be serviced?
Your motel room will be serviced and cleaned daily during your entire stay.
I am travelling on business and need to have Internet access for my laptop, is this possible in my motel room?
Yes. Each room features Wireless Internet for guest convenience.
How long before I will receive an email reply?
The fastest, easiest way to make a reservation is to use our real time online booking system. You should receive an emailed confirmation within 15 minutes of submitting your booking using this system. For emailed general enquiries, we aim to check our emails several times each day. If you have not received a reply from us within 24 hours then you may have provided us with an incorrect email address, therefore we suggest you re-submit your booking or email to us. You may also wish o check that messages from info@baycourttaupo.co.nz have not been blocked by your spam filters. How do I confirm my stay in the motel?
To guarantee your reservation you must supply a valid credit card number, cardholders name and card expiry date. This can be done using our online reservations system. Is it safe to use my credit card online?
Yes. We treat the security of our guest’s information very seriously. To ensure your security, all credit card transactions are secured by SSL, which encrypts the credit card number so as to make it unavailable to any other party.
What is your cancellation policy?
Unless advised otherwise, we require 48 hours of cancellation that applies to the full term of your reservation. If you have to cancel at short notice, or when guests fail to arrive, every endeavour will be made to re-let your booking, however if we are unsuccessful then you will be responsible for the balance owing. How far away are the ski fields?
Tongariro National Park is located 1 hour south of Taupo and has 3 magnificent volcanoes in the area. The largest, Mount Ruapehu, has three ski fields on its slopes. Whakapapa and Turoa are New Zealand’s two largest, while the third (Tukino) is a smaller country orientated field.
Are there many adventure activities in Taupo I can try?
Lake Taupo is loaded with adrenalin pumping adventure for the young or young at heart! Activities include bungy jumping, horse trekking, jetboating, whitewater rafting, off road motorbiking, kayaking, jet ski-ing, tandem skydiving, parasailing, mountain biking, rock climbing, skiing, snowboarding and more! |
