Driving Directions
The Baycourt Lakefront Motel is located in the heart of Taupo a few minutes walk to the shopping centre and on the Lakes edge. The Baycourt Lakefront Motel is right on the lakes edge so you get easy access to the lake an all that it offers in this tranquil setting.
From the North (Auckland and Rotorua):
Heading into to Taupo on State Highway One, drive over the bridge at the bootom of the hill, you'll pass Woolworths Supermarket on your left, head right at the roundabout on Tongariro Street (the local street name and still part of highway 1). Go through the traffic lights and carry on into Lake Terrace (along the lakes' edge). Continue along Lake Terrace for approximately 1.5 kilometres and it is the second place past Huia Street.
From the South (Wellington, Napier and Hastings):
Heading into Taupo on State Highway One, travel along Lake Terrace for approximately 3.5 kilometres. The motel is on the right just before Huia Street. |
